GREEN POLICY
At BEC we recognise that occasionally our work and products may have a direct or indirect effect on the local, regional and global environment. Fundamentally we are committed to reducing any harmful effects on the environment and promoting the practical incorporation of sustainable approaches and products in its broadest context.
It is our primary objective to recycle or reuse materials and products, where technically feasible, economically viable, and environmentally sound.
To achieve this we consciously:
- Recycle all packaging through certified suppliers.
- Ensure obsolete and older machines are assessed for suitability for charitable donation to organisations.
- All machines are securely data cleaned before shipping.
- Dispose of all materials via a suitably certified company.
- Offer our customers environmentally friendly disposal of computer equipment.
- Constantly review and amend our policies to ensure compliance with the WEEE directive.
